Chapter Curriculum

Our curriculum has been carefully put together using a plethora of resources; to state some, “Investment Banking for Dummies” by Matt Kranz and Robert R. Johnson, Investopedia, Wall Street Prep, actual investment bankers, and so much more. When you become the president of an IBC Chapter at your respective school, the IBC Project will provide you with all of the curriculum resources you need. Whether it be the actual powerpoints, lecture videos we have created that you can structure your lessons around, notes, and our actual guidance, you will never be short of knowledge or feel uneasy on the topic of what to teach and how to teach it!

Curriculum Overview

In terms of organization, our curriculum is divided up into 5 chapters, (in correspondence with part 1 of “Investment Banking for Dummies") each chapter is broken up into various sub-units and there are about 3-4 of them per chapter. We cover one of those sub-units once a week (so it takes 3-4 weeks to cover a chapter), and after every chapter, we have an event called IBC Social. This is where we bring in our investment bankers, play games, etc. (deviate from sole curriculum learning).
